Non-Executive Chairman
Denis Buckley
Denis Buckley was appointed to the Board on 19 October 2005 and was appointed Chairman in December of that year. He also serves on One51's Nomination and Remuneration Committees. Denis has been Chairman of Kerry Group plc since 2003, and is a Director of Aryzta AG and of the Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society Ltd.
Executive Directors
Alan Walsh
Alan Walsh (ACA, AITI) is Group Chief Executive Officer of One51. He joined One51 in 2006, and was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in 2009. Alan served as Interim Chief Executive from July 2011, before being appointed Group CEO in November 2011. Prior to One51, Alan worked at Matheson Ormsby Prentice and with reinsurance group AXIS Capital. He graduated from University College Dublin in 1998 with a degree in International Commerce, and later qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG.
Michael Long
Michael Long was appointed to the Board on the incorporation of the Company on 12 May 2004, and continues to serve as an Executive Director for the Group. Prior to joining One51, Michael held a number of senior management positions with IAWS Group plc (now part of Aryzta AG).
Non-Executive Directors
Dr Noel Cawley
Dr Noel Cawley was appointed to the Board on 1 February 2007 and also serves on One51's Audit Committee. Noel is a former Chief Executive of the Irish Dairy Board. He is Chairman of Teagasc (the Agricultural and Food Development Authority) and has served as Chairman of the Irish Horse Board. Noel is a Director of Anglo Irish Bank Corporation Ltd and a Director of An Bord Bia.
Hans Droog
Hans Droog (FCA, AITI) was appointed to the Board on 1 February 2007 and also serves on One51's Audit Committee. He was Managing Director of One51's Environmental Services division until 2009. Previously, he was a Senior Partner with Ernst & Young and subsequently held a senior management position with IAWS Group plc (now part of Aryzta AG).
Guy Hallifax
Guy Hallifax was appointed to the Board on 22 November 2010 and is Director of Acquisitions and Disposals at The Co-operative Group in the UK, the largest consumer co-operative in the world with sales in excess of £13 billion and more than 5.5 million members. Guy is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years of mergers and acquisitions experience in public and private companies, as well as private equity. Guy is also a Director of the Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society Limited.
Hugo Maguire
Hugo Maguire was appointed to the Board on 19th of October 2005 and also chairs One51's Remuneration Committee. Hugo is Chairman of Town of Monaghan Co-Operative Society Ltd,
a Director of Farmer Business Developments plc and a Director of the Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society Limited.
David Martin
David Martin (FCMA) was appointed to the Board on 1 March 2009 and also chairs One51's Audit Committee. He is a former Group Financial Director of IAWS Group plc (now part of Aryzta AG) and is currently a Director of the Dormant Accounts Board, FBD Insurance plc, the Irish Audit and Accounting Supervisory Authority (IAASA), and a number of private companies.
James C. Murphy
James Murphy was appointed to the Board on 19th of October 2005 and also serves on One51's Remuneration Committee. He is a former Chief Executive and Secretary of the Arrabawn
Co-Operative Society Ltd.
